My name is Clare and I am currently based in Portugal. I was granted a sabbatical year off in October 2018 and I have dedicated the time to learning to surf. It is a slow process which requires huge amounts of patience but I have met amazing people along the way and every so often I have a breakthrough that keeps me hungry for more and energised.
I am learning to surf with my boyfriend. Our conversations are now almost all about surfing and the things we learn. The learning, it turns out, is the greatest adventure of all!
